KISHOAN 喜承庵 is a traditional Japanese wooden home (known in Japan as a machiya) renovated to exceptional quality to provide an unforgetable cultural experience to those who are lucky enough to secure a reservation.

KISHOAN 喜承庵 features stunning traditional Japanese architecture and design pieces with a flair of modernity best realized in the stainless steel design of the kitchen and the state of the art appliances. After a long day of sightseeing, soak your aches away in the outdoor bath while enjoying the garden view. Then enjoy the comfort of a wide king-sized bed to recharge for another day out on the town. The second floor features two bedrooms: one with a wide king-sized bed and the other a Japanese style tatami room with up to three futons. Guests will also find a second shower and toilet on the second floor, as well as a quiet nook for calligraphy and meditation.
