ASUKA 飛鳥
Asuka is a stunning Kyoto townhouse which was recently renovated with a traditional Japanese flavor. The entire interior, from furniture to the kitchen and bath, is brand new. While this lovely vacation rental property boasts a host of modern conveniences, it also retains the original charm of a Japanese home. Located near the UNESCO World Heritage temple Kiyomizu-dera in Kyoto's Higashiyama ward, you are sure to love the location.
On the ground floor is a spacious dining area with a fully functional kitchen. The living area has plenty of chill space for your group to lounge around and relax in front of the large TV. Have an extra guest? No problem. The sofa slides out into a day bed, with extra pillows and bedding provided. Off to the back of the home you will find the bath / shower room and a separate toilet. We provide amenity sets and soft fluffy towels for your comfort.
Upstairs has 2 separate bedrooms with western beds, one with 3 singles and the other with 1 double. All of our beds are super comfy and dressed in 100% cotton sheets. Additionally there is a workspace for those times when you have to take care of business. Both bedrooms have direct access to the second toilet.
Your home in Kyoto is located in Higashiyama just near the scenic Kamo River and walking distance to countless temples and shrines. A short walk to the several public transport options will take you to all of Kyoto’s cultural sites and right to the center of town where you can enjoy a plethora of dining, shopping, and entertainment.
