AKI 秋

Aki is a recently renovated traditional Kyoto house located in a peaceful setting just to the west of the Kyoto Imperial Palace, owned by the current caretaker of the nearby Raku Art Museum.

On the ground floor is a spacious dining area with a fully functional kitchen. The living area has plenty of chill space for your group to lounge around and relax in front of the large TV (with free Netflix). Have an extra guest? No problem. The sofa slides out into a day bed, with extra pillows and bedding provided. Off to the back of the home you will find the bath / shower room. We provide amenity sets and soft fluffy towels for your comfort.

Upstairs has 2 separate bedrooms with 2 western double beds on top of traditional tatami flooring. All of our beds are super comfortable and dressed in 100% cotton sheets.

A short walk will take you to the Imperial Palace and the classic Nishijin locale with beautiful traditional architecture and quaint streets. A 30 minute walk will get you to the historic Kitano-tenmangu Shrine and UNESCO World Heritage listed Nijo castle.

This is a non smoking property.
